30-Minute Home Visit
Perfect for most cats, this visit includes all of the daily essentials, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, wellbeing checks, and time for fuss and companionship to ensure your cat stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

45-Minute Home Visit
Ideal for multi-cat and indoor cat households, this extended visit includes all of the essentials while allowing extra time to ensure each cat receives the individual care, attention, play, and companionship they deserve. Perfect for homes with three or more cats, or where a little extra interaction helps keep your cats happy and content while you're away.

60-Minute Home Visit
Perfect for cats who need a little extra TLC, this visit includes all of the essentials with additional time for play, cuddles, grooming (if appropriate), or simply keeping your cat company. This option is ideal for nursing mothers & kittens, senior cats- or those who simply benefit from a longer visit and extra reassurance while you're away.

Common questions
Will you visit my cat before the booking starts?
Yes- always. I offer a complimentary meet & greet visit before every new booking so your cats can get to know me in their own home, and so I can learn their routine, preferences, and any quirks. I won't accept a booking without one.
How often will you visit my cat?
That depends on your cat's needs. Visits can be requested for the morning, afternoon and evening. Most cats do well with one or two visits a day, but I'm happy to arrange more frequent visits if needed.
What do you charge?
Charges are based on the length of each visit: 30 minutes – £20 45 minutes – £25 60 minutes – £30 Please note that fees are charged at double the standard rate on all Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
What happens in an emergency?
I have a clear emergency protocol in place should your cat become unwell or require urgent medical attention whilst in my care. I'll contact you immediately and, if I'm unable to reach you, your nominated emergency contact. I'll have your vet's details from our meet & greet and, if necessary, will arrange for your cat to be taken to your designated vet or the nearest available veterinary clinic without delay.
Will it always be the same cat sitter visiting?
Cats of Cambridge is my own independent business, and I personally carry out every visit- so your cat receives consistent, familiar care from someone you know and trust. In the unlikely event I'm unable to attend due to an emergency, I'll arrange for a trusted third-party subcontractor to step in, keeping you informed and your cat's routine uninterrupted.
How do I hand over my keys?
I collect a spare key at the meet & greet visit and return it at the end of your booking, or hold it securely for future bookings if you prefer. All keys are stored safely and labelled without your address for security.
Will I get updates while I'm away?
Absolutely! After every visit, I'll send you a visit report so you can see how your cat is doing and know they're happy and settled. You'll receive an update after each visit unless you'd prefer otherwise.
Can you administer medication?
Yes, I can administer oral medication and spot-on treatments. If your cat requires injections or other medication that I don't routinely administer, I'm happy to discuss their specific needs at the meet & greet.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for Bank Holidays, Christmas, Half Terms and the summer months when demand is highest. A meet & greet is required before any first booking, so do get in touch ahead of your travel dates.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes, I understand that plans can change, so I aim to be as flexible as possible. I just ask for as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel your booking. On Bank Holidays, a cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled visit.
Do you offer overnight stays?
Currently, I focus on daily home visits to ensure your cat's routine is maintained in your absence, but we can discuss special arrangements if longer visits are needed.
Do you look after dogs as well as cats?
My service is focused on cats, as well as other small pets, such as: fish, rabbits and hamsters. However, if you are looking for a dog sitting service, please reach out and I can put you in touch with local dog sitters who come highly recommended!
